Jen Nelson, MEd, MS, LMFT

Jennifer is a licensed Marriage and Family therapist and a trauma-focused CHW at Clinica in Boulder and Broomfield counties, specializing in working with children and families. As a former teacher, administrator and school counselor, she has over 20 years’ experience and extensive training in education and trauma-focused interventions for children and families.

Jennifer is also a Let’s Connect facilitator and Trainer and regularly provides Let’s Connect to families individually and in group settings. In addition, she presents bi-monthly lectures on children’s mental health to an international audience, focusing on the impact of trauma, developmental neuroscience, and practical interventions for parents.

Jennifer has Masters of Education degree and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.

Her passions outside of her career include family, time in the Rocky Mountains and music.
